ABOUT THE SCOUSE GURU

My name is Martin. I am a former professional tennis coach turned yoga and meditation teacher, spiritual mentor, empowerment coach, business owner, father and proud Scouser.

Since opening up my business 'Planet Yoga' in 2013, I have been on an immeasurable journey of self-development and I am deeply inspired to share my gifts as a teacher.

Having spent many years meditating, developing a solid daily personal practice and pushing my limits on several 10 day silent retreats, it felt time to combine my meditation and coaching experience and share the gift of meditation with my community and beyond.

My credentials as a yoga and meditation teacher are always developing. I have over 800 hours of teacher training experience and many years experience facilitating and holding space for students to learn about meditation and human behaviour. I have an impressive understanding in conscious living and I have aligned my values as a conscious man to facilitate and hold space for learning, self-development, growth and transformation for all who are ready to step into their greatness.

It thrills me to watch and witness the transformation of the students I have had the pleasure of working with over the last few years.

MY MISSION

The way I present myself and my teaching is from the core of my own direct experience with life and spirituality. I now wish to serve others in this awakening of radiance, excellence and potential which are deeply aligned with my values and my purpose.

I am passionate about using the tools cultivated through meditation to awaken, inspire and uplift the gifts and potential that lie within us all. Individually and collectively reconnecting to ourselves and to others by bridging the gap between naturalness, stillness and clarity. My job is to facilitate learning and to hold the space for the student to realise and understand what meditation actually is and how the skilled practice of sitting quiet, navigating the mind and training awareness can have immeasurable benefits to the choices we make and the way we navigate our life.
